            Received gunshot wound to left leg at Petersbury, Virginia January 1864

   Joshua Alonzo Bragonier Union Private  Company ? Maryland;    Died on Civil War Battlefield July 15, 1863
                        Lineage: John Jacob Brogunier-Jacob Brogunier Sr-Peter Brockunier Sr.


                   Alfred C., George Henry & Charles Augustus Bragonier are all three brothers
   Alfred C. Bragonier Union Captain 
    Company G, 7th Regiment Maryland Voluntary Infantry
        ?- April 1863   Discharged because of illness; Invented a boiler Scalene cleaner which he patented and started the A.         C. Bragonier & Co. in 1894. His son Reginald took over A. C. 's business and renamed it.
                        Lineage: Jacob Brogunier-Jacob Brogunier Sr-Peter Brockunier Sr.
   George Henry Bragonier Union Captain in Company H, 2nd Regiment Potomach Home Brigade October 1861 - ? 
                      Reported to have brothers in both the Union & Confederate Armies; I have only found the Union Veterans!

    Company Maryland  Served from November 1854-1888

    1st Company C, 10th Regiment Virginia Volunteers Infantry
        Also 1st Company F, 11th Regiment Virginia Volunteer Calvary  July 1861 – ? Captured at Spotsylvania C.H., Virginia            May 12, 1864 Prisoner of War at Fort Delaware, Del.
                         Lineage: Daniel George Bragonier-Jacob Brogunier Sr-Peter Brockunier Sr.

        September 1861 – ?  Missing in action at Varnell’s station May 1864; Also Company K, 11th Regiment Infantry Indiana
                         Lineage: William Bragunier-Daniel Brockunier-Peter Brockunier Sr. 
    Thomas David Bragunier (1839-1908) Union Private 
       Listed in our family history only as "A Civil War Veteran".  Need more research on Thomas! 
                         Lineage: William Bragunier-Daniel Brockunier-Peter Brockunier Sr.
   Jeremiah Bragunier (1841-1879) Union Private,  Company B, 2nd Calvary Regiment Indiana
        September 1861 – October 1864; Captured while acting as a courier March 1863 Nashville, Tenn.
        Had $1 taken from his pay for losing a horse carelessly while on duty;  Later became a Grocer and General                          Merchandiser with brother Thomas D.    Frederick McKinsey Procunier Union Private  1865
    Listed as PROCKCUNIER, Fred M. IL, Co. E, 7th Cavalry, residence- Reynolds.
              Lineage: Isaac Procunier-Peter Procunier Jr-Peter Brockunier Sr

    John Jacob Bragunier Union 5th Corporal  Company ?? September 1861 – February 1863
            Wounded right forearm at Munfreesboro July 1862,  Discharged due to disability
