Daniel George Bragonier, the son of Jacob (Bracunier) Brogunier, Sr & Elizabeth Hetrick; married Mary E. Shindler Abt. 1837 in Maryland. Mary born 12 Nov 1810 in Virginia and died 03 Jan 1894Jefferson County, W-Virginia.
REV Daniel Bragunier a grandson of John Nicholas was a distinguished minister of the Reformed Church in Hagerstown Maryland. He was called the Original Old Mr. Huguenot and was an important character in a book written by Sr. Peter Davis
entitled The Young Parson. This indicates that Daniel firmly believed his grandfather was a Huguenot. Student of the Theological Seminary of York Pennsylvania, ordained pastor at Clear Springs June 25, 1834. Also pastorated at Shepherdstown, West Virginia, Martinsbury, West Virginia, Edinburg, Virginia and pastor of St. John's Reformed Church in Clear Springs Maryland. Highly esteemed by the people whom he served. Daniel's will is recorded in Charles Town, West
Virginia. The will of D.G. Bragonier, dated 28 Feb 1849 and was presented in 1869 on or after the 9th of March. His wife Mary was named as executor and the will was sworn to by James D. Fryman and Joseph Bragonier.
Mary E. Shindler was Heir to Conrad Shindler in 1887, Frederick co, Va (90:612) page 60 G. Randall's book The Bragonier Family 1969. Her will of 19 August 1892 was probated in Jefferson Co. Va. 22 January 1894. Witnesses, Mary G. Moore and Robert S. Moore. Might of had a daughter Elizabeth who died 7 Mar 1839.

Robert C. Bragonier 1842 in Shepherdstown W. Va., died 1904; married Fannie (Bragonier) Confederate" Private served with Stonewall Jackson, was a Prisoner Of War; a Lawyer & Justice of the Peace; records show Robert served with Stonewall Jackson. After the war he resided in Luray Virginia. Children: Joseph Bragonier 1870
