Daniel Bragonier, born 6 June 1797, died 1 September 1858 in Hagerstown, Maryland. On April 11, 1821 Daniel married Roseanna Horner or Houer. Rosanna was born in 1805 & died 16 September 1860.

Daniel's father David Brockunier died aged 47 in 1814 when Daniel was only 17. Orphans Court record in Washington County Maryland indicates that on November 23, 1814 Daniel "ae 17, 11 Sept 1814 last " chose his older brother Samuel Bragonier as his guardian. Children:

Upton Hower Bragonier, 1822-1879 married Matilda Norris. They had nine children.

Mary Elizabeth Bragonier, married Joseph M. Smith. Mary died in Charles Town, West Virginia about 1894.

Martin Luther Bragonier, 1830- married Lydia Helser 1857. Married in Maryland, then moved to Indiana.

Emily Joanna Bragonier, 1835-1896 per records from the German Reformed Church, Clear Springs, Maryland.

James Dean Bragonier1843-1925 married Elizabeth Howe 1866, had 13 children.
